Are you having a hard time telling the world to F@$! off and leave you in peace?

You can’t seem to say: No, I’m not okay with that, I don’t want to talk about it, now is not the time…?

🙋🏾‍♀️🙋🏽‍♀️🙋🏼‍♀️

You’re not alone, friend! But, you also don’t need to continue on this way!

When you learn the wondrous benefits of boundaries, you’ll start to feel stronger in your communications with others, whether those are life or business communications.

The bad news ☹️

You’re going to need to learn how to speak those words eventually. Especially if you want to lessen the anxiety and stress you feel around others, specific topics, places, etc.

The good news 🙂

I’m here for you! While I can’t have the conversation with you or for you, I can help you feel better prepared to start setting those boundaries so those words don’t seem so scary anymore.

🌟 What is a boundary?

Setting a standard or guideline of things, places, or people that you’re not willing to deal with or tolerate for longer than a set amount of time, if at all. It is meant to protect you from others and even yourself.

🌟 How to know when you need them
-You feel drained at the thought of that “Thing”

-Negative emotions overwhelm you, like: anger, annoyance, sadness, grief, impatience, etc

-”Thing” causes too much trouble, disturbance, distraction, etc

-Takes up too much time from your family, work, sanity, etc

🌟 How to set healthy boundaries

-Know what that “Thing: Person, place, thing, topic, thought, event, etc” is that causes you distress or intense negative emotions

-Understanding what your limit or barrier is for that “Thing”

🌟 Examples of boundaries

-Letting someone know a particular topic is off limits

-Turning notifications off on your phone

-Excusing yourself politely when topics arise that you don’t want to be a part of

-Being open and honest in your communication of off limit topics with friends, family, partnerships, business relationships, etc

-Set specific days, times and hours for things to be done in your life and business

Setting boundaries doesn’t have to be hard or uncomfortable. Whether you need them in your life or in business, they help you have time to process emotions without added stress, maintain relationships in whatever parameter is necessary, and keep mental peace of mind.

You don’t have to feel like you need to wear a muzzle or constantly go to battle about things you don’t want to.

Enjoy the show!
