EP 23 - Business Success: The Importance of Taking Action in Your Business
As a woman on a mission to have success in entrepreneurship, I can understand how it’s sometimes difficult to take action, get things done or even know what to do.
When you work online as a small business owner working from home, it’s easy to get distracted and take your eyes off the prize.
I’ve been there, done that. Even so recent as a few weeks ago!
So here are some tips to help you understand the importance of taking action, what to do and how to get started NOW, even if you don’t know where to start.
The Importance:
Begin to be and feel productive
Stop wasting time on the fluff
Realize the ‘fear’ is all in your head
Keeps you from focusing on the negative ‘stories’
What To Do:
Identify your specific end goal, whether big or small
Reverse engineer the tasks, or work it backward to the starting point
Identify the small actions you can start with
How To Get Started:
Make taking 30 minutes a day to move your business a non-negotiable
Put that 30 minutes into your calendar when you’re most productive
Set an alarm or reminder right before the time starts in your calendar
Get an accountability check in person or group to make sure you get it done
The only way to actually get things done in your business and making money is to get past your fear and take action.
